Skin Allergy – Do You Suffer from Skin Rash?
Causes of Skin Allergy Rash
The occasional skin rash can be caused by many things including insect bites, sunburn, reaction to chemicals and childhood diseases. Most of us have suffered at one time or another but it becomes a real problem when the rash is persistent, painful and debilitating. The worst examples are caused by allergies, principal among which is Atopic Dermatitis more commonly known as Eczema.
Typical Symptoms of Skin Allergy Rash
The skin becomes red, itchy, weeps and is sore.Typical body areas where the rash occurs are the inner elbow, back of the knees, cheeks, neck, wrists and ankles. In more serious cases, the rash can spread to all parts of the body becoming a major medical condition which must be treated by a competent medical professional. In less serious cases however, it is the persistence of the rash which is of most concern. If the symptoms are worse at bedtime or in the morning, the culprit is often a dustmite allergy.
Eczema Triggered by Dustmite Allergy
Dust mites are everywhere in our homes and it is impossible to completely eliminate them with insecticides or even the most meticulous cleaning regime. They leave their droppings behind on bedding, carpets drapes and any soft absorbent surface and when the droppings are disturbed by getting into bed, walking on carpets or opening curtains, they rise up in a cloud and we breathe them in or they settle on our skin.
Dustmite allergy is caused by proteins found in the dustmite droppings that we have breathed in or which come in contact with the skin This causes an allergic reaction in many people. In fact it is estimated that 80% of the population is affected to some extent by dustmite allergy. Sometimes the reaction occurs on the skin as rashes or more seriously, weeping sores, cracked skin and insufferable sensitivity.
In other cases, the reaction takes the form of breathing problems, runny nose or eyes, coughing and even asthma. Studies have estimated that 40% of asthma attacks are triggered by dustmite allergy. It is not uncommon to have many of the symptoms at the same time, so dustmite allergy becomes a serious problem.
Skin Allergy Rash Treatment
If your skin allergy rash or eczema is caused or aggravated by dustmite allergy, there is a simple, safe treatment which will help alleviate your symptoms. It will not cure your skin allergy but will make life more pleasant by removing or reducing the unpleasant symptoms you currently suffer.
The treatment is based on de-naturing the protein in the dustmite droppings which causes the allergic reaction. This is achieved by spraying all the areas dustmites live and breed, particularly our bedding, carpets and soft furnishings, with an aqueous based anti-allergen solution which immediately de-activates the harmful protein which causes the problem.
When we are in contact with the allergen, the body now does not recognise it as it’s “shape” has changed and no allergic reaction occurs.
A Simple Home Test to See if this is Your Problem
It is simple to establish if dustmite allergy is causing or aggravating your skin allergy rash problem. Obtain a sample of the allergy control spray “Dustroy” and follow these three simple steps:
- In your bedroom, thoroughly vacuum the mattress and other non-washable bedding. Wash all sheets, pillows, pillow cases and soft furnishings.
- Dust everywhere with a damp cloth.
- Lightly but thoroughly spray all the surfaces you have prepared with Dustroy. (Avoid spraying hard or non-absorbent surfaces since they do not harbor dustmites).
- Allow 30 minutes for Dustroy to dry.
What To Expect
It may take a few days before your symptoms of skin allergy rashes or other forms of eczema start to disappear and you start to enjoy relief from your symptoms, since even though the allergen has been removed, the body has to heal the existing damage that has been caused.
If there is no change in your symptoms after a reasonable time, you either do not have a dustmite allergy or there are other complicating factors or allergies. If you have not already done so, you need to seek professional medical advice.
A Personal Experience
“Before Dustroy I was itchy with eczema in bed every night which resulted in little sleep. I had tried acupuncture, dermatologists, energy healers, naturopaths and injections to desensitise me to dustmites, which made me even sicker.
When I use it, I don’t want to tear my skin off and can actually have a relatively itchy free day……I have tried many products and this is one of the few that I have actually made a repeat purchase for as it works!”
